The Post-Primary Languages Initiative (PPLI) supports post-primary schools in providing access to modern foreign languages that may not be available as timetabled subjects.
How PPLI supports students
PPLI provides a framework through which students may be able to access language learning outside the normal school timetable. The availability of languages, delivery methods and places can vary from year to year.
- Supports students who wish to study a modern foreign language not currently offered by the school.
- May provide access to online or blended learning programmes.
- Can support students preparing for further study, travel or international exchange.
- Participation depends on availability and guidance provided through PPLI each year.
